| General Description |
The Welch 8925W Direct Drive vacuum pump is a robust vacuum pump for applications requiring pressures < 1 Torr. The 8925W achieves < 0.001 Torr with a pumping speed of 320 liters/min (11.3 CFM).
The 8925W is designed specifically for class 1 Div 2 Explosion Proof environments and does NOT include a power cord. The 8925W needs to be wired to a power source by a licenced electrician. Please review your wiring needs, as this wiring option is often ordered in error and is subject to a 15% restocking fee.
Two stage, oil sealed vacuum pumps should not be operated continuously at pressures above 1 Torr. Operating this vacuum pump at higher pressure will induce excessive oil spraying from the exhaust of the vacuum pump causing premature failure and void warranty. Please consult your Chemtech Scientific Representative for consultation, should the ultimate pressure of your process run above 1 Torr. |
